Hi everyone, With things pretty quiet these days, I thought I would bring you all up to speed as to what I have been getting up to from the end of season ,which seems like ages ago.
Really the first thing that took place after Killalane was the Supporters Club end of season BBQ and barn dance, which seems to be getting more popular each year. This years special guest was none other than X Factor's RJ Woosley….

Many thanks to all involved for making it such a great nights craic, and off course to Raymond Davidson and his parents for the use of their premises, without them this night would not be possible.
I think at this stage I should move on before I mention just how well some of my mechanics scored on the night….!!!

My next socialising weekend was to Portugal for the last round of the WSB to see Johnny Rea, Eugene and Michael Laverty in action, and boy none of them let us down. (Many thanks to Keith Amor for organising us paddock passes).
There were seven of us invited out for the weekend to Liam Quinn’s ( of Team Racing fame!) new villa he recently built, Now when I say a “villa” I don’t mean a place the size of a shoe box, this is the proper job, automatic gate's on the drive, swimming pool, hot tub, speed boat, en-suite bathrooms, pool table...this place has the lot. But Fair play to Liam, he has worked hard in his business over the years and deserves every bit of it............. So when are we going back Liam…..!!!
To be honest the highlight of the weekend was going enduro bike riding on the Saturday. Liam, Gordy Taylor, Kenny McCrea, Declan Coey and myself all took to the mountains for eight hours and 140 miles along with a guided tour, at one stage Liam said this is just a big child’s play park, so if your ever over that way it’s a must if that kind of thing turns you on. Never once did we have to ask the tour guide to up the pace. Although I don’t think we will be able to talk Kenny into going back riding one again as he never rode one before and most likely not to do so again,!
its like a bad experience with a woman…… So many thanks to Liam on behalf of us all, and to Gordy for doing all the kitchen work….!!
So the big nights and weekends out of the way I have a few prize giving evenings to attend. Mid Antrim is first, then we have the Diangiean Awards the weekend after, now that is one worth attending as Pat Nolan and his team put a lot into the sport each year..
Last weekend I had a free Sunday which has been unusual all year and as a result has meant I have neglected going to see our friend Seamus Greene who is still in Hospital in Dungloe. I have to say when I arrived at the hospital he was in great form although still unable to speak he knows your there. Its good to bring him up to speed with what is happing in the racing world and who’s doing what.
So really that’s it for now. There is not much bike stuff going on at the minute, but every thing is getting put in place for next year and a couple of new sponsors are coming on board. Plus, all being well I wi'll have a new team member to keep us all on our toes...day and night!! Some people are already suggesting I should be taking up pram racing……
Before I go I must congratulate William Dunlop on his fine performance at the last ever 250 GP, he done himself proud on a bike that has been raced on country road all year.
By the way, I have my R6 Up for sale, if anyone is interested , give me a shout on ; 00447718895679
