Reflecting back on the Skerries meeting, it certainly didn't look too healthy on sat morn, but I have been told in the past, that Skerries is one of the driest places in Ireland, so I was somewhat optimistic, that it would fair up, and Thankfully it did.
Credit to the organiziers, for re shuffling the race programme, its good to see a wee bit of common sense coming into play.
In the open race, I got involved in a good dice with Damien Mulleady and Paul Cranston, when I managed to get ahead , I just settled for a safe finish, as the others were well gone!.
In the 600 race, there came on a wee shower of rain, and to be frank about it, I just pulled in, as I wasn't exactly happy, the 250 was going good, Stewart has been working flat out on it, and definetly we are making inroads in the correct direction.

I had a good dice with Ivan linton, and was pretty happy with my result.
I was looking forward to the Grand Final, I had a good start, and had just passed Michael Dunlop, when the red flags came out, obviously disappointed, but when I heard the circumnstances involved , I was gutted.
My thoughts are with the Thom family, and I hope Milton makes a full recovery, Milty has been part and parcel of motorcycling around the Cookstown area, so heres hoping that he will make a full recovery.
We left for Dublin after the races, but left Trigger at home.

Practice went well for the Southern 100, and in the first race to night, I was lying in 4th when the bike made rather rude noises, so I pulled in, the lads are now having a check to see what damage is done, I am hoping it aint too serious, but we will soon know!
I had a good run in the 250, and had a good race with Davy Morgan , William was really flying, and deserved to win.
Lets hope the weather holds off for the rest of the week, all being well, we get back home on Friday, re load the lorry, and head of down to Walderstown, so don't forget, if you are about, drop over for a chat.
