Final 2007 TT Practice Session

Last nights practice session, saw us only get 2 laps done, due to the spill at Black Dub. Whilst on the subject, I just want to pass on my Best Wishes to Victor and Michael, and hope that their injuries aren’t too serious.

I took the stocker out for a lap, still not happy with the handling, we are going to try a few more wee things, including more seat foam, to see if we can eliminate the problems. The superbike was out for the 2nd lap, and the new gear cogs seem to be doing their job, but the bike was overheating, so, back to the drawing board again!.

Yesterday morning, I woke up, and I could hardly talk!, I must have some sort of throat infection, feel ok otherwise, the lads probably aren’t complaining though!

To morrow, I hope to do the superbike race, and get the stocker out for another lap practice, lets hope the weather is favourable. Also, I wish all riders a safe race, before I go, I want to say another Thank You, to everyone who has taken time to sign the Guestbook, I really appreciate yous taking your time to do so.

John

Like everyone else, I am bit dissappointed  that the racing didn’t go ahead to day, but as always safety is a paramount , and I fully respect the decision taken.

I suppose the lads will use this as an excuse to find the Beer Tent!, I suppose they deserve a few cokes!

I am still pretty quiet, with my throat problem, but the throat doesn’t lay any part in handling bikes!

I was hoping to get a lap on the stocker after the race, but that is now on hold.

The Pitlane walkabout was certainly busy this morning, good to see this idea implanted by the organizers, well organized as usual.

To be honest, there were well wishers, whom I have never met before!, so if you are reading this, Thanks , your support is very much appreciated.

Whilst it is all very easy for me to say a few words for the site, two lads who are keeping this updated, Baylon ( must be the islands fastest reporter/photographer!) and Alan (Armstrong) Thanks, you both are doing a good job, much appreciated.

Keep in touch
